In just a couple of hours from this moment, as I write these words, this year's Grand National will be run at Aintree.

It's the jump horse race of the year and will be watched by many millions around the world. But for the first time, I won't be one of them. Yesterday, at the same venue, two beautiful big horses fell at two fences and had to be put down.

It got me doing some online research, where the collective number of horses that have died over the years at Aintree is really shocking. I then stumbled across a charity that works hard for the protection of all animals and the dreadful way humans treat them.

I think I've turned vegan. I'll be joining a growing number of like minded others. This also means a closer look at organic foods.

By a curious coincidence, looking through some catalogue of e juices at my local supplier, I found Organic 100 VG E liquid.

Apparently, organic e liquids have a fuller flavour so it may well be worth a go. The organic orange is the one I'll try and will let you know in a future blog whether it lives up to the hype.

It's never easy giving up one e juice flavour for another, but it is still worth the effort as vape fans know, there is always a feeling that a better one is just around the corner.

Smoking cigarettes in the old days was much easier, though more dangerous. There is never a huge difference between the tobaccos, unless trying some exotic foreign stuff like Indonesian kretek. 

For anyone that hasn't found themselves working in Indonesia, kretek is a Sumatran or Java tobacco with whole cloves rolled in. It's an onomatopoeic word that resembles the crack of the cloves as they are lit.

They are too easy to love and should I return to that country, it will be hard to choose between vaping and these. Although come to think of it, Indonesia may be one of the many countries that have never allowed vaping.
